After prolonged glorious summer weather that stretched well into October, fall has decidedly arrived, bringing colder temps, rain, and even a short downpour of hail that almost drowned out the Billy Collins reading on Sunday for a few minutes. But between the signs of winter ahead, some stunning autumn weather has graced us of late, if you’ve had time to notice.
Joe Michael of Agate Point has noticed, and he shared these lovely shots of Bainbridge Island taken last Sunday. He said, “Sunday was a great picture day: A wonderful sunrise, a sunny and calm Eagle Harbor, followed by storm clouds off Agate Point.”

Joe,
Again, your photos are magnificent. I feel the light from the storm clouds, not the darkness. Absolutely breathtaking.
