After quite some time, we have a happy winner. Congratulations Megan Carson! Megan told me she never wins things and is delighted to win one of the Bainbridge Farm Goods signs, which she has bought as gifts for others but never for herself. Since she has goats, her choice is the “Goats at Play” sign, a popular one.
So, where is this mystery mailbox? I’ll let Megan tell you:
“I love this little mailbox and walk by it regularly. It sits on the north end of Madison, on the west side of the road in front of a cute, well-maintained older home. It is across the street from what used to be a lavender farm and not too far from Frog Rock. . . . My husband is a firefighter too and we think the mailbox is very fun.”
Thanks again to Bainbridge Farm Goods for donating this great prize!

Hint published May 16:
HINT: This mailbox sits on the north end of a North-South Island thoroughfare. Yeah, it really is that easy.
If you’re game for another round of Name That Mailbox, you could win what everyone seems to want these days: a sign from Bainbridge Farm Goods. Yes, I mean the irresistible farm signs by Susan Roth, who we just profiled this week in the following popular article: Bainbridge Island’s “Happy Chicken Sign” Lady Brings Style to Urban Farming.
So, if you are the first to tell
us where this little Bainbridge Island fire-engine-that-could mailbox is, you will win a cool sign of your choice. I think you can. I think you can. We ask previous prize winners to refrain from playing.
A big thank you to Bainbridge Farm Goods for this generous prize donation, a $34.95 value. These UV-resistant, heavy aluminum signs are produced right here on the Island.

Hi! I love this little mailbox and walk by it regularly. It sits on the north end of Madison, on the west side of the road in front of a cute, well-maintened older home. It is across the street from what used to be a lavender farm and not too far from Frog Rock. I hope this is enough information! My husband is a firefighter too and we think the mailbox is very fun. And I love the Urban Farming signs! I've bought them at Bay Hay and Feed as gifts, but think my garden would look lovely with one too.
